A boat to England
On the 22nd of September more that 500 riot police broke in to the “jungle”, a built-up area of tents and huts made by Afghan refugees on the beach close to the harbor of Calais, to arrest and raze
to the ground the area. During the operation 266 immigrants were arrested, half of them under aged that were sent at French detention centers. The adults will be deported to their countries unless France provides them political asylum. © FRANCESCA OGGIANO
