Hospice of Hope
Palliative care is any form of medical care or treatment that concentrates on reducing the severity of disease symptoms, where the goal is to prevent and relieve suffering and to improve quality of life for people facing serious, complex illness.
Recent studies on Romanian patients, relatives and medical professionals have shown that there is a high demand for palliative care, as the country's medical system cannot provide sufficient support for the terminally ill.
