Toxic Water Swimmers

Many Athenians living in West Athens, use to have a bath in beaches surrounded by shipyards, oil refineries, cement factories and tanneries. Elefsina, Aspropyrgos and Skaramagas are not the safest sites for swimmers. Thousands cubic meter of waste per day pollute water in the area of Saronic Gulf. © GEORGIOS MAKKAS
